What day do rentals start?
Rentals start on a Friday. The main reason behind this is that the majority of flights from the UK arrive on this day.

What is the earliest time that I can arrive at the Villa and what time must we depart?
To be safe, we suggest that you arrive after 2pm, which allows our agent time to clean the villa prior to your arrival. However we try to be flexible and may be able to alter this. On the day of departure, the villa must be vacated by 10am, but again we try to be flexible.

Do we need to hire a car?
Hiring a car is not a necessity when staying at our villa, however, to enjoy all the island's attractions and help with your food shopping, we would thoroughly recommend it. Menorca is a small island - approximately 30 miles long and almost any place is accessible within one hour. There are plenty of places to visit around the island - outstanding beaches, towns and various events such as local fiestas during the season. If, however, you choose not to hire a car on arrival, there are taxis available at the airport. The approximate cost from the airport to the villa is €16.

Do you provide directions to the Villa?
Yes, a map will be sent to you once your booking has been confirmed.

How do I get into the villa on arrival?
Your keys are sent to you approximately a fortnight prior to departure.

How far is the villa from any supermarkets and restaurants?
The nearest supermarket and restaurants are approximately a 10 minute walk from the villa at Cala Torret. A slightly further walk will bring you to Binibeca Vell where you will find another small supermarket and three more restaurants.

Do you supply pool furniture?
Yes, there are 10 sun loungers plus 10 chairs and 2 tables alongwith assorted li-lo's, masks and flippers etc. which you will find in the large storage area (La Capella beside the pool).

Is the tap water safe to drink?
Yes, the water is perfectly safe to drink, however, if you prefer bottled water, this is available from local supermarkets at approximately 85p for 5 litres.

What satellite channels do you subscribe to?
Currently, we subscribe to the "free view" channels which include BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky News, and some music channels. Please look at the links page for more information on channels available.

Are there any books & games in the villa?
We have a small collection of books and games.

What happens if we have any problems when we are staying in the villa?
We use Redorka - a local agent, based in Binibeca - who will be able to assist you with any queries you may have.

Is there a phone in the villa?
We do not have a telephone at the villa, however, if your mobile phone can be used overseas you will find there is a strong signal.

How far is the villa from the beach?
The beach is approximately 800 yards away.

Do you provide a cot and highchair?
No, but this can be arranged through Redorka - our local agent. The cost is approx €2 per day.

Do you have any heating?
We have electric heaters in case of any cold nights in early or late season.
